Following the pre-premiere screening of The Odyssey at ODEON Oslo on Thursday, 16 July, ODEON Oslo and Draken Harald Hårfagre invite you to continue the evening with us at Sukkerbiten in Bjørvika.

Join us for an exclusive waterfront gathering beside Draken Harald Hårfagre, the real Viking ship featured in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.

Meet members of Draken’s international crew, including many of the sailors who took part in the filming, step aboard the ship and celebrate the premiere together in one of Oslo’s most distinctive waterfront settings.

This is a rare opportunity to experience the ship up close and spend the evening with the people whose seamanship, craftsmanship and life at sea helped bring the world of The Odyssey to the screen.

The afterparty is exclusively for invited guests attending the pre-premiere screening at ODEON Oslo.

Sukkerbiten is a relaxed, mainly outdoor waterfront venue. Comfortable shoes are recommended, particularly for guests who would like to visit Draken during the evening.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard and continuing the celebration together after the screening.

Getting to Sukkerbiten

Please note that transportation from ODEON Oslo to Sukkerbiten is not organised as part of the event. Guests are therefore asked to make their own way to the afterparty following the screening.

Sukkerbiten is located on the waterfront in Bjørvika, beside the MUNCH museum.

By public transport

Walk from ODEON Oslo to Storo tram stop and take public transport towards the city centre. From central Oslo, continue towards Bjørvika, the MUNCH museum and Sukkerbiten.

As evening routes and departure times may vary, we recommend using the Ruter app or Google Maps when leaving the cinema to find the quickest available connection.

Walk From Oslo Central Station

Sukkerbiten is approximately a 10-minute walk from Oslo Central Station and Jernbanetorget. Walk through Bjørvika towards the MUNCH museum. Sukkerbiten is located on the waterfront beside the museum.
